Ululab, a Montreal, Canada based company, is committed to protecting your privacy.

This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices for the Ululab website at www.ululab.com and the Ululab mobile applications. Our apps are designed for young kids and parents, and our websites are intended for adult-use only.

This Privacy Policy is a part of the Terms of Use that explain your rights and responsibilities, as well as Ululab’s, when using our services and sites.

By using our apps and websites, you agree to the handling of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • Apart from the purchase of a subscription for the Ululab services or for the unlocking of all content, there are no in-app purchases.

  • Our practices with regard to data relating to children are particularly strict, as we describe below. Most personal data collection is restricted to about parents only. We collect the age of your kid, to ensure we produce content that is age appropriate for our customers.

What Information We Collect

We collect the following data from adults:

  • email address
  • chosen password
  • chosen nickname and avatar for your children
  • device type and OS version
  • cookies on the Ululab website
  • IP address

We may use cookies or web beacons to personalize content and ads and to analyze our services.

Through the game, we collect the following non-personal information from players:

  • Unique device identifier
  • Device type and version
  • Achievements
  • Time spent playing
  • Other information about game usage, such as progress in the game

How We Collect and Process Your Information

We collect and process personal data when adults voluntarily:

  • Download the Math Makers App
    • When you first download and access the parents’ section of our apps, we collect technical information and technical identifiers such as device type and OS version. We use it for testing our IT systems and analyzing data in order to improve the user experience. 
  • Register as a parent to the Math Makers service
    • We manage personal and non personal data through Microsoft PlayFab liveops back-end platform. This data includes Device Information, Unique PlayerID, Log in data, esp. IP address, log in location (city, country, continent), Registration date, Game specific data, game progress, history of all sessions, Presence in game, etc. You can get more information from our Terms of Services agreement with PlayFab: https://playfab.com/terms/#:~:text=Privacy. We share this information with a third party attribution platform to record installs of our apps in relation to the parent experience, and to track in-app events in the parent’s section of our apps (www.appsflyer.com/privacy-policy). 
    • We ask for a parent email address and a chosen password.
  • Pay for one of our services or apps
    • We process your payment information through third-party payment processing services such as Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. 
  • Complete a customer survey or provide feedback on our services or apps
  • Request technical support
    • We collect any personal info that you voluntarily choose to share with us through email.
  • Subscribe to our newsletter
    • We do manage our contact lists of parents and teachers subscribing to our newsletter through a third party, HubSpot. Those email addresses are not shared and are only used for that purpose.   • Navigate through the Ululab website intended for adults.

We also collect player data in the Math Makers service:

  • We do collect anonymous information such as screen views and actions taken to help us improve our product and provide a better experience.
  • We compile achievements and game history events.

In the Slice Fractions and Slice Fractions 2 apps:

  • We do collect anonymous information such as screen views and actions taken to help us improve our product and provide a better experience.
  • Some apps may collect personal data, such as IP addresses, through services provided by a company called Unity. When these services are used in an app, a link called “Data Privacy Page” or “Analytics Opt Out” will be displayed in the parents menu. You can use this link to view what information was collected by Unity, and request that they remove this data from their server. Protecting children’s privacy

While the Ululab website is targeted at parents, we built our mobile applications in order to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children, unless we previously obtain specific parental consent. We also strongly believe that ads and in-app purchases should not be part of the children’s experience.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information adults provide us to:

  • Manage the accounts
  • Understand how you use our apps and sites in order to improve our services
  • Provide you with technical support
  • Contact you about new features or new app

Your Access to and Control Over Information

Ululab keeps your content and data for as long as necessary to provide its service. If you want to review or delete your or your child’s information, or you want to opt out of our services, contact us at info@ululab.com.

We do not share your information for marketing purposes. We do share anonymous information with 3rd parties to help us run and maintain our services.
